It all began during lockdown -
My friends and I had a bake off over group chat! It was so great, we caught up, laughed lots, made memories and got cookies at the end of it too. Afterwards I thought, 'this could be an amazing gift'...
A Little About Me
Hi! My name is Jaye and I'm the one behind Bake Box - I develop the recipes, I created the product and I put each and every one together for you! I'm a Teacher, a partner, a dog mum, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend but most of all I am a giver.
I love to make other people HAPPY!
Apart from baking my other big love is being in nature, the ocean and bush are where you'll find me!
HOW Bake box is DIFFERENT
There are many ideas for presents out there, but not many that combine a tangible gift as well as one of the most valuable things someone can give; time. I have many family and friends living around Australia and the world, who I often FaceTime and so the idea of Bake Box came to mind. For those people living far away I often send gifts to let them know I am thinking of them, now I can do that as well as have that long overdue catch up. My love of baking
I just LOVE baking!
As cliché as it may sound, I got that love from my Grandma. I always loved helping Grandma in the kitchen, licking the bowl and smelling the cake in the oven, but what I love most about Grandma's baking is the joy it brings me and my family.
Without fail, every birthday the fancy china plates are on the table along with her famous chocolate cake, lemon marshmallow and jelly cakes.
The way my Grandma's and now my baking makes my friends and family feel; nostalgic, loved and full of joy are feelings that I want to help give to other's.
